"Lux" & "Transformations" open on April 27

The Sun Gallery is proud to announce its upcoming exhibitions for April/May:
"Lux", A Photography Exhibition by George Asencio, April 27th to May 28th.
Reception for the artist, April 30, 1 - 4:00pm
George Asencio's collection of images is the culmination of years studying how light conforms to the human body. George is a Graduate of San Jose State's Photography Program. His work examines the play of light (specifically LED) as it wraps and skips across the human form.

"Transformations"

In the main gallery we are presenting "Transformations"

a large group show featuring over 20 artists living and

working across California. This exhibition will showcase works of art where the creative act has altered simple

ideas and materials in a variety of ways including painting,

collage, sculpture and found object assemblage. The artwork in this exhibition includes large scale installation, intimate collage work and minutely detailed sculpture.

Artists include: Wilma Wyss, Clint Imboden, Leslie Grunditz, Shelley Gardner, Mary Helene Wagner, Travis Earl, Mark Schroeder, Vakil Kuner, Tino Banuelos, James Faulkener, Ken Bertelson, Christa Schanda, William McCullogh, Isabelle Jenniches and many others. Artwork by Leslie Grunditz (right)
